DualShot Recorder

Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 1, 2026

This policy describes how the DualShot Recorder mobile application (“the App”) handles information when you use it. The App is designed so that recording, preview, and video export run on your device. We do not operate a login or account system inside the App as described here.

Who is responsible

The App is published by its developer. For privacy questions, use the contact options on our Support page.

Information the App accesses

The App may request access to:

Location: DualShot Recorder does not use your location for app features. Your system may still show a location-related permission string because camera-related system components can reference location APIs; the App does not use location for recording, metadata tagging (location tagging is disabled in configuration), analytics, or advertising.

How your content is used

Videos you record are processed on your device (for example, copying the portrait file and creating a centered landscape crop when you use Dual Lens mode). Outputs are saved to your Photo Library when you choose to save them. The App does not upload your recordings to our servers as part of core functionality, because the App does not include a backend service described in this policy.

If you add third-party services, analytics, or cloud sync in a future version, this policy should be updated before release.

Data sharing and sale

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your videos with advertisers. The App does not show third-party advertising in the version described in this policy.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the age required in your region). Do not use the App to record people without their consent where required by law.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
